CHICKEN WITH GREEN MASALA
Ingredients:
- Chicken - 1kg (thigh fillets, halved)
- Ghee or Oil - 4 tbsp
- Fresh Coriander leaves - 1 bunch (chopped)
- Fresh Mint leaves - 1/2 cup
- Green Chilli peppers - 5 to 7 (chopped)
- Fresh Ginger - 5 tbsp
- Garlic - 4 tbsp (crushed)
- Black pepper powder - 3 tsp
- Fresh Lemon juice - 1/2 tbsp
Recipe Direction:
- Preheat oven to 100°C
- Grind Coriander leaves, Mint leaves, Chilli pepper, ginger, garlic, peppercorn and salt into thick paste, add lemon juice to this thick paste.
- Add the thick paste to the chicken, mix well and marinate for half an hour.
- Brush Oil over a large baking sheet. Place the chicken on sheet in a single layer. Bake without turning, until chicken is cooked through 25 to 30 minutes. Transfer to the serving plate garnish with mint and coriander leaves . Serve hot.
