 TANDOORI CHICKEN


Ingredients:

  • Chicken - 500 gm
  • Ghee - 1 to 2 tbsp
  • Curd - 1/2 cup
  • Ginger Garlic paste - 1tbsp
  • Kashmiri red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder - 2 tsp
  • Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder - 1tsp
  • Lime juice - 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

For Garnish:

  • Onion rings
  • Spring onion - 1 tbsp (finely chopped)

Method:

Wash and slash the chicken in 2 to 3 places and marinate with curd,ginger garlic paste, kashmiri red chilli powder,red chilli powder,pepper powder,garam masala powder,1/2 tbsp of Lime juice and salt for atleast one hour.

When its ready to cook apply ghee and place the chicken in a flat dish, thicker sides towards the outside and thinner sides in the center. 

Cover and microwave for 20 to 30 minutes. Turn over and microwave without cover a cover for another 10 minutes. Apply lime juice and garnish with online rings and spring onion.

Serve hot with egg mayonnaise.
