CHICKEN TOMATO GRAVY
Ingredients:
- Chicken - 500 gm (breast of chicken)
- Tomato gravy - 1 cup
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Curd - 2 tbsp
- Red chilli powder - 1 to 2 tsp
- Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Pepper - 1/4 tsp
- Garam masala - 1/4 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Salt to taste
For Garnish:
- Onion rings
- Slit green chillies - 3
- Coriander leaves - 1/2 tbsp (finely chopped)
Method:
Apply turmeric powder to the chicken . Keep for 10 minutes and then wash. Take the flesh off the breasts and cut in one inch pieces.
Marinate them in ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, garam masala powder, pepper powder, curd and salt and keep for about 30 minutes.
Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan add marinated chicken pieces and cook for 20 to 30 minutes in a low flame or until it cooks nicely.
Add tomato gravy to it and cook for another 3 to 5 minutes, stirring in between.
Serve sprinkle with onion rings and coriander leaves. Place slit green chillies on top.
