 SPICY ELAICHI CHICKEN GRAVY


Ingredients:

  • Chicken  - 500gm (cut in pieces)
  • Oil -1 tbsp
  • Curd - 1/2 cup 
  • Coconut milk - 1/4 cup
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Ground Together:

  • Shelled Cardamoms  - 12 
  • Ginger - 1/2 inch piece
  • Garlic - 5 to 8 flakes
  • Mint leaves - few
  • Cashewnuts - 1 tbsp
  • Onions - 1
  • Tomato - 1 
  • Green chillies - 4 to 5
  • Lemon juice - 1/4 tsp 

For Garnish:

  • Coriander leaves

Method:

Apply a little turmeric powder to the chicken pieces and keep aside for 10 minutes. Wash well and marinate chicken pieces with all the above ingredients except oil for one hour.

In microwave safe dish mix the chicken with oil and microwave covered without water for 30 to 40 minutes, medium 70% power turning over the chicken pieces a few times.

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with chapati or egg fried rice.
