SPICY MASALA CARDAMOM CHICKEN
Ingredients:
- Chicken - 500 gm
- Oil or Ghee - 1 tbsp
- Yoghurt - 1/4 cup
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Ground Together:
- Shelled Cardamoms - 10 to 12
- Onion - 1
- Green chillies - 3 to 4
- Ginger - 1 inch piece
- Garlic - 8 flakes
- Mint leaves - few
- Coriander leaves - few
- Lemon juice - 1/4 tsp
For Garnish:
- Fresh cream
- Onion rings
Method:
Wash chicken with turmeric power and apply lemon juice (1/2 tsp) and keep for 5 to10 minutes.
Marinate chicken with all the above ingredients except oil for 30 minutes.
In a pan add oil when its starts boiling add marinated chicken pieces without adding water cook for 10 to 15 minutes in a low flame turning over the chicken pieces a few times. Cook well the chicken.
Transfer to serving dish and garnish with fresh cream and onion rings. Serve hot with chapati or saffron rice or ghee rice.
