 SPICY CHICKEN DRY MASALA


Ingredients:

  • Chicken - 500gm
  • Oil - 1 to 2 tbsp
  • Curd - 1 tbsp
  • Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Pepper powder - 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Garam masala powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Lemon juice - 1/4 tsp
  • Tomato puree - 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

For Garnish :

  • Green green chillies - 2 (slit)
  • Onion rings

Method:

Apply turmeric powder to the chicken pieces and keep for 5 minutes. Wash thoroughly and cut in one inch pieces.

Marinate them in curd, ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, turmeric powder,coriander powder, garam masala powder, lemon juice and salt and keep for 30 minutes.

Mix with oil and microwave  for 5 minutes in a serving dish.

Stir and microwave for another 3 to 5 minutes. Let is stand for 2 minutes more then mix in tomato puree. Microwave for another 5 minutes. Stirring in between.

Serve sprinkled with coriander leaves and onion rings. Place slit green chillies on top.


Note:

If the mixture is too dry add 2 to 3 tbsp of hot water and mix well.
